LITTLE QUILTS OF LOVE

Just one of the wonderful, caring projects carried out by Aldinga Quilters, "Little Quilts of Love" may be just 18" square, but they cover tiny babies with acres of love and warmth as they fight to grow after their premature births.

Some quilts provide comfort to help ease the grief of parents whose little angels just aren't strong enough to stay with them.

If you'd like to make a "Little Quilt of Love" to donate to the Neonatal Units of The Women's and Children's Hospital or The Flinder's Medical Centre please use the following instructions as a guide.
Quilts need to be either 18" or 24" square finished size.

• All materials used in the construction of the quilt must be prewashed and suitable for use by newborn babies.
• Flannel (or similar) is a suitable batting.
• They may be pieced or appliqued.
• Please keep quilting simple and do not tie quilts.
• Place a label on your quilt.

Aldinga Quilters will arrange delivery of the quilts to the hospitals.
