I had so much fun making this pinata for my grand daughters 2ND birthday and I thought I would like to share it with you. Of course a long time in the making and a mere few minutes in the destruction - and everyone had a great time!

LESSA SIEGELE WORKSHOP 23rd October 07
Our members again welcomed Lessa Siegele to our club and enjoyed learning the techniques and skills taught by Lessa. The girls chose to make either a baby blocks or floral foundation pieced project. Lots of fun and lots of concentration too!! Thank you to all who participated.

Galilee Children's Thank You

ALDINGA QUILTERS RETREAT 2007
After many months of planning thirteen of our members spent a fantastic weekend together eating, sewing, more eating, laughing, sewing, more eating, laughing... We had a ball! During the weekend we were free to do our own thing or follow Margie's guidance in making a colourful butterfly design stained glass wall hanging. The results were stunning and we have found a very talented teacher to boot! I am sure there will be a lineup to attend any future retreats and the success was due greatly to three wonderful organisers - Margie, Stella and Meg. We thank you all for a great weekend we will always remember.
