November Show and Tell
The other of Lessa's workshop choices was the baby blocks design. We have one very talented and obsessed member that just could not stop at one quilt! These images are of some of the baby block quilts made by Margie in the two weeks following the workshop. You are a legend!
PS... There was a rumour that this quilter may have cut too many strips for the initial project...
November Show and Tell
During the year Hazel issued yet another challenge to our members and the results are stunning. We have made many Christmas table runners that will be sent to the remote outback areas as part of Christmas packages for the drought stricken farmers and their families. We thank you all for your support and hope the packages will bring some joy to a lot of people at Christmas time.

Some of our members who participated in the workshop with Lessa Siegal had completed their projects within a two week time frame. The top image was completed by Christine and the image above made by Stella. Well done.
November Meeting & Auction

Instead of winding down as we get closer to Christmas it seems as if our girls have been producing even more great work than ever.
After our general meeting and of course show and tell another of our famous auctions was held. As usual lots of fun and laughter with the auctioneer (Meg) keeping us all on our toes. This is a great fund raiser for us and you often get to take home more than you actually thought you were getting rid of!!!
