Freezer Paper

A Versatile Tool for Transferring Quilt Designs
Freezer paper is excellent for making quilt templates or stencils to transfer your designs to your quilt top before quilting. Use your own original designs to fit specific areas by drawing onto the paper with a black permanent marking pen. You can then place over a light box under your fabric and transfer design this way. Stencils can also be made by folding and cutting the freezer paper as you would do to make a snowflake design IE this would be made by folding and cutting a design into the paper and then opening out. Once you have cut a stencil it can be ironed in place onto your quilt top and the design can be traced direct to the quilt. The stencil can be used several times before it no longer sticks. Have fun trying out some of your own original quilting designs.
